Exhibition architecture of A School of Schools and participation.
A School of Schools, curated by Jan Boelen, Nadine Botha and Vera Sachetti opened on 22nd of September 2018 to the public, with the exhibition architecture by Aslı Çiçek. The biennial includes 200 participants from all around the world. It shows various projects from the discipline of social design, spread in six prestigious art spaces of Istanbul. Çiçek designed all venues with displays she defined using the III+1 structures by Lukas Wegwerth.
Next to the exhibition architecture of the Design Biennial her ongoing research on the relations between architectural representation and design methodology is shown in the School of Scales, which is one of the six themes defined by the curators.
